Our first date
March 13 — errands at Home Depot, sushi, the mall, and macarons. The day everything began.
Imanalla · Bienvenidos · Welcome
Our story began in the most unexpected way. What was supposed to be an ordinary day turned into our first date and the beginning of something truly special. We started with simple errands at Home Depot—not exactly the classic romantic setting—but somewhere between conversations and spending time together, the day slowly became something much more memorable.
From there, we went to enjoy sushi, explored the mall, and ended the day with sweet macarons. It wasn't extravagant—it was genuine, easy, and full of moments that made us realize how much we enjoyed being together.
Not long after, we took our first trip together to Tampa, Florida, where we visited friends and created unforgettable memories. That trip became the first of many adventures. Over time, we shared birthdays, family visits, countless trips, laughter, and everyday moments that became the foundation of our relationship.
Each experience brought us closer and reminded us how beautiful life is when shared with the right person. Through all the adventures, celebrations, and growing together, our love continued to become stronger.
And now, here we are—getting married and preparing to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by the people we love most. We cannot wait to say "I do" and share this incredible moment with all of you.
Thank you for being part of our journey.

Imanalla · Bienvenidos · Welcome
Imanalla, welcome. Diana's roots are in Otavalo, an Andean community known for its Kichwa language, music, and extraordinary weaving traditions. Otavalo textiles carry generations of artistry, patience, and identity, while Andean values honor family, reciprocity, and Pachamama—Mother Earth. As John and Diana begin married life, they carry those roots with gratitude. This celebration also honors kuyay, the Kichwa word for love: love of family, love of place, and the love that brings all of us together in Quito.
