A note on heritage
Imanalla, welcome. Diana's roots are in Otavalo, an Andean community known for its Kichwa language, music, and extraordinary weaving traditions. Otavalo textiles carry generations of artistry, patience, and identity, while Andean values honor family, reciprocity, and Pachamama—Mother Earth. As John and Diana begin married life, they carry those roots with gratitude. This celebration also honors kuyay, the Kichwa word for love: love of family, love of place, and the love that brings all of us together in Quito.
